Abstract:

The diagnosis of pigmentation on oral mucosa is very complicated and needs to firstly eliminate melanoma. Because of its high malignancy, melanoma needs to be treated quickly. However, most of pigmentary diseases are not malignant but signs of systemic diseases. In this paper, we reported a rare pigmentary disease on oral mucosa, Laugier-Hunziker syndrome, to help dentists to identify this rare disease.
