Bone splitting combined with guided bone regeneration technique for implant restoration in atrophic maxilla: a case report

Abstract:

Bone splitting technique combined with guided bone regeneration (GBR) are commonly used in maxillary anterior region with a ridge width of only 3-5 mm to increase bone volume. Here we reported a case of aesthetic implant restoration of a severely atrophic maxillary ridge, with a width of less than 3 mm, by combining bone splitting and GBR technique.
