Abstract:
Objective
To investigate principles for the nursing care in immune cell therapy on oral cancer.
Methods
The clinical data of 63 cases with malignant tumors in oral and maxillofacial region were analyzed retrospectively to evaluate the nursing characteristics of these patients during immune cell therapy.
Results
From January 2009 to December 2011, 63 patients were treated 413 times concluded with intravenous injection 405, arterial infusion 8 and intra-tumor injection 65 times.There were 45 cases having fevers, 7 cases having vomiting, 7 cases having shivers and 3 cases having rash out of the 413 times of treatment. All patients had successfully completed immune cell therapy smoothly.
Conclusions
Clinical medical care programmes should based on its treatment in patients with symptomatic of personalized care, strengthen the psychological guidance for patients. Immune cell therapy provides a realistic new option in the field of oral cancer immunotherapy.
