Progressive hemifacial atrophy associated with epilepsy: A case report

Abstract:

Progressive hemifacial atrophy (PHA), also known as Parry-Romberg syndrome (PRS), is still unclear with its pathogenesis. PHA is characterized by progressive atrophy of unilateral facial tissue, which is mainly treated by symptomatic treatment in clinic. In this article, a case of progressive hemifacial atrophy with epilepsy had been followed up for seven years, and the comprehensive oral treatment and improvement of life quality were reported.
