Abstract:

The brain systems of sensory, motor, learning, speech, and cognition all focus on the cerebral cortex, while primary facial sensory and motor cortex plays an important role in controlling maxillofacial motor function. Changes in oral environment can lead to primary sensory and motor cortex structural changes and functional reorganization. Primary sensory and motor cortex neural plasticity reflects the ability of nerve system to adapt to a new environment. The primary sensory and neuroplasticity of the motor cortex in the cerebral cortex is of great importance for revealing the regularity of brain activity, implementing clinical treatment and intervention.

Key words: Motor cortex, Facial primary feeling, Oral environment, Functional reorganiza-tion, Neuronal plasticity, Cortical plasticity
