Clinic effects of 3 types of artificial bone on teeth autotransplatation: result of 2 years clinical obeservation

Abstract:

Objective

To compare and analyse clinic effects of three sorts of artificial bone on teeth autotransplatation with in 2 years.

Methods

Lost or residual roots of 103 first or second molar in 96 patients with age range from 16 ~54 years old in out-patient were selected and divided into three groups three sorts of artificial bone were applied separately when doing teeth auto-translatating.Periodontal indexs and targets of all teeth of autotransplatation teeth were recorded and analysed after 6,12 and 24 months post-operatively.

Results

Periodontal indexs and other targets of all autotransplatation teeth excepte for 8 teeth extracted after surgical operation two years later, did not show significant difference.

Conclusion

Clinical effects of the three kinds of artificial bone posses similar outcomes within the 2 years post-operative clinical study.
