Abstract:
Objective
To observe the short-term clinical efficacy of transfer factor （TF）in combination with semiconductor laser on recurrent aphthous ulcer （RAU）.
Methods
One hundred patients were randomly divided into the treatment group and the control group.The clinical effects analyzed statistically two weeks after the first and the second period of treatment.
Results
The effective rate of the treatment group （81.67%） was higher than that of the control group （55.5%） after the first period of treatment （P ＜0.05）.The effective rate of the treatment group （86.67%） was significantly higher than that of the control group（47.5%） two weeks after the second period of the combination treatment（P ＜0.05）.
Conclcuions
The combined treament of TF and semiconductor laser has a better short-term effect on RAU， with little toxicity and side effect，which significantly improves the effective rate on RAU.
