Methods
27 infantile cases with hemangioma in the parotid gland(aging from 3 months to 2 years)were treated by parotidectomy and hemangioma resection, associated with facial nerve preserved. The follow-up time for all the patients ranged from 1 to 3years, and the surgical results were observed.
Results
All cases healed in one-stage, without presence of salivary fistula or permanent facial paralysis. During the follow-up period. Only two of the 27 cases were found to recurrence within 1 year after surgery, but recovered after being undergone sclerotherapy.
