The application progress of cone beam computed tomography in odontic and periapical diseases

Abstract:

Cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) produces three-dimensional information of the oral and maxillofacial region with high spatial resolution and low effective radiation., especially for bones and teeth tissue It is an important tool for the examination of the oral and maxillofacial region. This article is to make recommendations for the use of CBCT for odontic and periapical diseases.
