Abstract:
Objective To observe the clinical effects of minimally invasive extraction and immediate placement of Zimmer implants in maxillary anterior teeth.
Methods Twenty Zimmer implants were placed immediately after minimally invasive extraction of maxillary anterior teeth with Benex extractor from 20 patients. Among them, 2 patients were received Bio-oss artificial bone argumentation and covered with Bio-Gide absorbable membranes in their labial side osteons. Final prostheses were restored after 3-6 months. The patients were followed up for 2 years to observe the restoration effects by clinical results and X ray.
Result Twenty teeth were followed up over 2 years with 100% successful rate.
Conclusion It is an effective method to restore the maxillary anterior teeth by minimally invasive extraction and immediate placement of Zimmer implants.
