Abstract:
Occlusive disorder in young children can affect children's succession of decideous teeth, development of the jaw and oral function,as well as the facial appearance and mental health of children. The clinical doctors and scholars have paid more attention to the occlusal abnormalities present in the early age of children. The fundamental goal of early orthodontic treatment, also known as phase one of or preventative orthodontics,is to guide the growth and development of the children's jaw so that there is enough room for permanent teeth to come in straight. We consider that initiating early treatment is reasonable and eminently logical, since it is allows partial or even total correction of an evolving orthodontic anomaly in a growing child. Such early therapy is often brief by using simple appliance, eliciting little cooperation from patients and their parents, and preventing the anomaly from worsening. This paper is to discuss the early interceptive approach to different orthodontic anomalies.
