目的

探讨用于橡皮障隔离下显微根管治疗相关实验教学的仿真头模离体牙模具的制备方法。

方法

将人离体牙置于口腔教学仿真头模配套橡胶模具的牙槽内,将树脂材料放入该离体牙近远中颈部压紧固定,厚度约1.5 mm;将石膏注入模具,盖上模具盖,用重物压约20 min,然后在开盖时将其完全干透,取出石膏,将制好的牙模离体牙模型安装在仿真头模上,去除树脂材料使用。对参加2020年中山大学附属口腔医院牙体牙髓病科显微根管治疗继续教育学习班的22名学员发放调查问卷,对教学安排、实验室的教学设备、教学效果、建议等进行了调查,回收问卷进行各问题结果百分率统计。

结果

所灌制的离体牙模具可直接用于仿真头模,并具有近远中间隙用以放置橡皮障,可模拟出安装橡皮障及在橡皮障隔离下进行显微根管治疗的临床操作过程。对继教班学员共发放调查问卷22份,回收有效问卷22份。问卷调查结果显示,100%被调查者认为在仿真头模上模拟安装橡皮障的学习经历有帮助,95.5%学员希望在现有基础上进一步改良和增加显微根管治疗学习器材。

结论

本研究设计了仿真头模使用的离体牙模具,可用于口腔教学实验室进行橡皮障隔离下显微根管治疗教学。

Objective

To develop a method of preparing an isolated tooth in the artificial head model under the treatment of root canal therapy with microscopic and dental dam for teaching purpose.

Methods

The extracted permanent teeth were put into the alveolar of cavity block of the artificial head model. A thickness of 1.5 mm resin material was placed around the proximal and distal cervical of the tooth. The super hard plaster was then filled into cavity block and covered with a certain pressure for 20 min. After removing the resin material, the condensed gypsum was put into artificial head model. A questionnaire was issued to 22 students who were trained in microscopic root canal therapy in the Department of Endodontics, Hospital of Stomatology, Guanghua School of Stomatology, Sun Yat-sen University, class 2020. The questionnaire contained the teaching arrangements, laboratory teaching equipment, teaching effects, suggestions, etc., and the percentage of the results of each question were collected by suitable statistical methods.

Results

The isolated dental mold can be used in artificial head model directly with a mesio-distal gap to place the dental dam. All operational processes could simulate the clinical procedures of microscopic root canal therapy with dental dam. A total of 22 questionnaires were distributed and returned. All of the respondents believed that they could benefit from simulating a rubber dam in the artificial head model. 95.5% of the students hoped that we could further improve and add more teaching equipments for root canal therapy based on the results.

Conclusions

This study successfully designed a suitable artificial head model with isolated tooth, which was helpful for microscopic root canal therapy with dental dam with teaching purpose.
