目的

筛选生物力学相容性优良的颌骨内植入用多孔镍钛合金。

方法

采用常规粉末烧结法制备不同孔径多孔镍钛合金,用金相显微镜观察孔隙形貌,万能试验机测定弹性模量及压缩强度。

结果

金相显微镜下见孔隙主要由相互连通的大孔和微孔组成,试件孔径范围在(89.5 ± 45.4)~(735.0 ± 82.3)μm;弹性模量为(7.2 ± 0.3)~(9.2 ± 0.3)GPa,压缩强度值为(595.3 ± 41.4)~(889.1±56.4)MPa;随着造孔剂粒径增加,材料孔径增大,力学性能呈下降趋势(P <0.05)。

结论

孔径对颌骨内植入用多孔镍钛合金弹性模量及压缩强度有影响,造孔剂为50 ~200 μm 时,多孔镍钛合金压缩强度最大,且弹性模量与颌骨骨质弹性模量接近,能够满足植入体力学性能的基本要求。

Objective

To study the effect of different pore size on Young's modulus and compressive strength of porous Nickel-Titanium (NiTi) alloy.

Methods

The porous NiTi specimens were fabricated by the method of powder metallurgy with NH4HCO3 powder served as the temporary space-holder and pore size regulator.The microsurface characteristics and pore morphology were observed by metallographic microscopy.Young's modulus and the compressive strength were measured by a universal testing machine.Statistical analyses were performed by the computerized statistical package SPSS 16.0.

Results

The porous NiTi specimens exhibited threedimensionally interconnected, permeable and open structures with the pore size ranged from (89.5±45.4)μm to (735.0±82.3)μm.Young's modules of the specimens were between (7.2±0.3)GPa and (9.2±0.3)GPa, and the compressive strength were from (595.3±41.4)MPa to (889.1±56.4)MPa.The Young's modules and compressive strength of porous NiTi specimens decreased gradually with the increase of the pore size (P <0.05).

Conclusions

Pore size of porous NiTi alloy has a significant impact on the Young's modulus and compressive strength.When the size of the spaceholder is about 50-200 μm, the porous NiTi specimens possess the best compressive strength.
